We were looking for the ultimate lobster roll and we found it here! The service was amazing, and the food was epic. A great choice of craft beer as well, which we enjoyed! I highly recommend this spot if you are out for a drive to Peggy’s Cove!!
Got take out to bring back to Wayside Campgrounds where I'm staying just 3 minutes away. Friendly and quick service. Complimentary coffee while I waited. One day, I wish I could come back to try the mussels they ran out. Thank you for the delicious dinner
My family and I recently visited The Finer Diner on our way to Peggy's Cove. We were impressed with the food and service! Our order was taken promptly and the food came out quickly. Everyone thorougly enjoyed their meal. I especially enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese which had generous chunks of lobster. The lobster roll was also fantastic though the bun could have been fresher. Would definitely pop in again if I was ever in the area.
The lobster wrap was a bit disappointing—the sauce was overpowering and masked the delicate flavor of the lobster meat. However, the mussels were absolutely incredible—the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had. Perfect in every way!
We stopped here after visiting Peggy’s Cove on recommendation of our friends we were touring with. The service was great and very quick. We seafood chowder and the borschts which by itself would be a reason to come here. Tawnee also had the fish and chips which was very good and huge serving. I had the lobster roll and poutine and both were excellent. They make an excellent gravy for the poutine. Also had a very good local beer. We would definitely eat here again.
Food was great! I had the lobster roll and fries and it was fresh, flavourful and generous. The outdoor seating was clean and very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and nice to deal with. All around a great place to grab lunch after visiting Peggy's cove.
First time here and it was a pleasant experience for my mom since my father and I took her for lunch ( Mother’s Day) and the food was delicious! Mom had the grilled chicken sandwich and garden salad and I had the finer diner burger with fries and my dad had the beet soup with a plate of fries. Reasonably priced and warm atmosphere! Will be back!
